  • 1 cup sugar

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients first. Make sure your butter is softened at room temperature.
  • Prepare your strawberry puree by blending fresh strawberries until smooth.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry puree and sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
  • Add the softened butter to the mixture and blend until smooth.
  • Gradually add the flour, stirring continuously until a soft cookie dough forms.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the edges are light golden brown and the tops look set.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or mix in chocolate chips for variation. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
