Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients to ensure everything is on hand.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the vanilla and almond extracts and mix until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually stir this dry mixture into the creamed mixture until a soft dough forms.
  • Gently fold in the finely chopped almonds.
  • Scoop small portions of the dough (about a tablespoon) and roll them into crescent shapes. Place them on ungreased baking sheets.

Baking
