Ingredients
  

Casserole Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 10.75 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Crescent Roll Assembly

  • 2 8 ounce cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, milk, chopped onion, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Assembly

  • Open the crescent rolls and separate each can into individual triangles.
  • Take a spoonful of the chicken mixture and place it on the wide end of each triangle, then roll them up from the wide end to the narrow tip.
  • Place each rolled crescent seam side down in the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
