Ingredients

For the skewers

  • 8 oz Salami, sliced
  • 8 oz Mozzarella balls, preferably marinated
  • 1 cup Olives (green or black, pitted)
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup Artichoke hearts, marinated or canned
  • pieces Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and prep them. Slice the salami into manageable pieces if not already done. Rinse the olives and any canned ingredients.
  • Take a skewer, and start by threading a piece of salami onto it. Ensure you push the salami all the way down, creating a snug fit.
  • Add a mozzarella ball onto the skewer.
  • Add your choice of olive to the skewer.
  • Follow with a cherry tomato.
  • Insert an artichoke heart next.
  • Continue to repeat the threading process until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at the ends for easy handling.
  • Once all your skewers are assembled, lay them out on a serving platter.
  • You can serve them immediately or chill them in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor mingling.

Serving

  • Serve your Antipasto Skewers with some dipping sauces, such as balsamic vinegar or pesto.

Notes

To add flavor, marinate mozzarella in olive oil and herbs. Optionally, lightly grill the skewers for a smoky finish.
