Ingredients
  

Base

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 2 oz apple cider
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz triple sec
  • ½ oz simple syrup optional, adjust to taste
  • ice for shaking

Garnish & Rim

  • cinnamon sugar for rimming glass
  • 1 wedge lime for garnish and rimming
  • 1 slice apple for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prep your workspace and ingredients. Clean your counter space and gather all ingredients.
  • Rim your glass with cinnamon sugar: run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip into cinnamon sugar.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add tequila, apple cider, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup (if using) to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into the prepared cinnamon-sugar-rimmed glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and apple slice.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh and cold. You can swap triple sec with Cointreau or Grand Marnier, and adjust sweetness with agave or honey. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute tequila and triple sec with sparkling apple cider or soda water.
