Ingredients
  

For the salad

  • 2 cups chopped apples (any sweet variety) Choose fresh, crisp fruit.
  • 2 cups halved grapes (red or green) Wash and halve the grapes.
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts Can substitute with almonds or pecans if desired.

For the dressing

  • ½ cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular) For a dairy-free option, use coconut yogurt.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with agave syrup for a lower sugar option.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is preferred.

Preparation

  • Start by washing and chopping the apples into bite-sized pieces.
  • Wash the grapes thoroughly and slice them in half.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples and halved grapes.
  • Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the mixed fruits.

Making the Dressing

  • In a separate small bowl, combine the plain yogurt, honey, and lemon juice.
  • Whisk this mixture until it's smooth and creamy.

Combining and Chilling

  • Pour the yogurt dressing over the fruit and walnut mixture.
  • Gently toss everything together until well coated.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Serving

  • Once chilled, serve the salad in individual bowls or on a large platter.

Notes

Best served chilled; can be prepared ahead of time but add dressing just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 2-3 days.
