  • 10 pieces jalapeños Cut in half and seeds removed for milder flavor.
  • 10 slices bacon Regular or turkey bacon can be used.
  • 4 ounces cream cheese Can be substituted with vegan cream cheese.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather all your ingredients and utensils.
  • Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

Making the Filling

  • In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Use a spoon or piping bag to fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.

Wrapping and Baking

  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing it with toothpicks if necessary.
  • Place each wrapped jalapeño on a baking sheet, open side facing up.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is crispy and jalapeños are tender.

Serving

  • Let the jalapeños cool for a few minutes before serving them warm.

Notes

These jalapeños are easy to store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
