Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 1 cup Boursin cheese (any flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 whole lemon, sliced

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it warmed up while you prep. Gather all your ingredients so they are within reach.
  • Take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. This will help prevent sticking and make cleanup a breeze afterward.
  • Arrange the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they are evenly spaced for optimal cooking.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over each salmon fillet. Use your fingers or a brush to ensure each piece is well coated.
  • Take the cup of Boursin cheese and spread it evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper over the layers of cheese, ensuring a nice, even coating on each fillet.
  • Top the salmon fillets with lemon slices. These will impart a fresh flavor as they bake.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. For longer storage, freeze wrapped salmon tightly.
