  • Peel the plantains and slice them diagonally into 1-inch pieces.

Tossing

  • In a bowl, toss the sliced plantains with olive oil and salt.

Baking

  • Arrange the plantain slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check the plantains after 20 minutes; they should be golden and tender.
  • If they need more time, let them bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm for the best flavor.

Notes
