For the Dill Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 cup plain yogurt Can substitute with dairy-free yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped Can substitute with dried dill, using less
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and pre-measure the spices and chop the dill.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper, rubbing the seasoning into the fish.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Check for doneness around 15 minutes; salmon should flake easily with a fork.

Preparing the Sauce

  • While the salmon is baking, prepare the dill yogurt sauce by mixing yogurt, chopped dill, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Season the sauce with additional salt and pepper to taste.
