  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup banana pudding mix instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup chopped bananas ripe
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and banana pudding mix until combined.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—do not overmix.
  • Fold in chopped bananas and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow to cool for 10–15 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

For added texture, fold in chopped walnuts or pecans. Try topping with cream cheese frosting or a drizzle of caramel for extra indulgence. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
