  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk Dairy-free substitutions available
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sliced bananas Add towards the end for freshness

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and measure out the Rice Krispies, mini marshmallows, butter, banana pudding mix, milk, vanilla extract, and sliced bananas.
  • In a large pot, melt the unsalted butter over low heat, then add in the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until melted.
  • Remove the pot from heat and quickly mix in the banana pudding mix until smooth.
  • Add the milk and vanilla extract, stirring until creamy.
  • Gently fold in the Rice Krispies until well-coated.
  • Carefully mix in the sliced bananas.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch pan and spread evenly.
  • Allow to cool for about 30 minutes at room temperature or 15 minutes in the fridge.
  • Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a twist, consider adding chocolate chips, nuts, or different pudding flavors. Store in an airtight container for 4-5 days.
