Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Choose your favorite flavor

For the Sliders

  • 12 pieces slider buns Fresh buns preferred

For the Coleslaw

  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • ½ cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Shred the cooked chicken beforehand for ease.

Cooking

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce. Stir until thoroughly coated.
  • In another bowl, combine coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  • Lightly toast the slider buns on a skillet or in a toaster to enhance flavor and crunch.

Assembly

  • Place a generous portion of BBQ chicken on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  • Top the BBQ chicken with a spoonful of creamy coleslaw mix.
  • Place the top half of the bun over the coleslaw, pressing down gently to secure.

Serving

  • Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve immediately, with additional BBQ sauce and toppings on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap individually and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
