  • 4 cups broccoli florets Wash before use.

Marinade

  • ¼ cup soy sauce Can substitute with gluten-free soy sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For richness.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced Adds warmth.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Thickens the marinade.

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and slice the beef sirloin thinly against the grain.
  • Wash the broccoli florets, and mince the garlic and ginger.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the marinade by combining soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
  • Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes.
  • Spread the broccoli florets evenly on a sheet pan.
  • Combine the marinated beef and broccoli on the pan.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served hot with steamed rice or quinoa. Leftovers can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
