  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots) Feel free to substitute with seasonal vegetables.
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce Tamari can be used for gluten-free.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil Used for cooking.
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.

Preparation

  • Gather all your fresh ingredients. Slice the beef into thin strips and wash and chop your mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant—about 30 seconds.
  • Add the sliced beef to the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  • Toss in the mixed vegetables. Stir-fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender yet still crisp.
  • Drizzle soy sauce over the beef and vegetables, tossing to ensure everything is well-coated.
  • Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
  • Remove from heat and serve your stir fry hot over a bed of rice or noodles.

Notes

This dish can be easily customized; for a vegetarian version, replace beef with chicken, shrimp, or tofu. To enhance flavor, consider marinating the beef for 30 minutes beforehand.
