  • 0.5 teaspoon salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup Biscoff spread Key ingredient for flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Pre-measure your sugar, flour, and cocoa powder to ensure you have everything you need at your fingertips.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to save time later.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray. You can also line the pan with parchment paper for easier removal after baking.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter (either in the microwave or on the stovetop).
  • Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter and mix well until dissolved.
  • Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and add the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined. Do not overmix.

Final Steps

  • Gently fold in the Biscoff spread and chopped cookies.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cool, cut into squares and serve.
