  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Biscoff spread For a spiced flavor
  • ½ cup chocolate chips Optional, for added texture

  • Gather all your ingredients and measuring tools.

Baking the Brownies

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  • Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Once melted, remove from heat and stir in 2 cups of sugar.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition, then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of cocoa powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in 1 cup of Biscoff spread until well distributed.
  • Add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and mix gently.
  • Pour the batter into the baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness.
  • Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. They can be frozen for longer storage. For variations, try adding nuts or topping with frosting.
