  • 1 bell pepper, sliced bell pepper, sliced Any color bell pepper can be used.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients: dice the chicken breast, slice the bell pepper and onion, and mince the garlic.

Cooking

  • Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once warmed, add the diced chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pan and stir for about 30 seconds, ensuring it does not burn.
  • Incorporate the sliced onion and bell pepper into the pan, stir-frying for approximately 3–4 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  • Stir in the soy sauce and black pepper, mixing well to coat the chicken and vegetables.
  • Cook for an additional 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
  • Season with salt to taste before serving.
  • Serve hot over a bed of rice or noodles.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle with chopped green onions or cilantro before serving. A squeeze of lime juice also enhances the dish.
