  • Ensure cream cheese and butter are softened to room temperature.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter. Beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed to avoid a sugar cloud. Increase speed once incorporated, mixing for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Incorporate fresh blueberries or blueberry puree. Mix on low until fully blended and the frosting turns a light purple color.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix for another minute.

Final Adjustments

  • Check frosting consistency; it should be thick but spreadable. Add milk as needed.
