Rotel tomatoes with green chilies

shredded cheddar cheese

ranch seasoning mix

Instructions
Set out all ingredients and allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
Stir in the drained Rotel tomatoes.
Add shredded cheddar cheese and ranch seasoning mix, stirring until evenly combined.
Fold in optional chopped cilantro/parsley and diced bell pepper or jalapeño.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
Stir before serving and transfer to a serving dish. Enjoy with chips, crackers, or veggies.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. Add more jalapeños if you want extra heat. Best served chilled.
