Ingredients
  

For the Breadsticks

  • 1 tube refrigerated breadstick dough Or use homemade pizza dough.
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted Can substitute with olive oil for a dairy-free version.
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Omit for a dairy-free version or use dairy-free cheese.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Feel free to customize with your favorite herbs.
  • 1 pinch salt To taste.
  • 1 serving warm marinara or pizza sauce For dipping.

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients and preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the refrigerated breadstick dough carefully. If using homemade pizza dough, roll it out on a floured surface to about ¼-inch thick.

Shaping

  • Cut the dough into strips, each measuring about 6–8 inches long.
  • At each end of the cut dough strips, make a small slit and curl the pieces outward to form bone shapes.

Baking

  • Place the shaped breadsticks onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have space between them.
  • Brush the shaped dough generously with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt over each piece.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm alongside marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days. For freezing, wrap individually before placing in a freezer bag.
