Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure the brownies are prepared and cooled completely.
  • If making homemade brownies, bake according to your recipe instructions and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
  • Allow the brownies to rest at room temperature until completely set, which might take around 1 hour.

Decorating

  • Prepare the icing by mixing store-bought or combining powdered sugar with milk for homemade icing.
  • Spread or pipe the icing onto the cooled brownies in various designs.
  • Gently sprinkle assorted toppings over the icing and press them in slightly.
  • Top with fresh fruit slices to add a refreshing touch.
  • Cut the decorated brownies into squares and serve on a platter.

Notes

Store decorated brownies in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature. For long-term storage, refrigerate but note that icing may lose some firmness.
