Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare your pie crust by placing a store-bought crust in a pie dish or rolling out homemade dough to fit.

Mixing

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped pecans gently.

Baking

  • Carefully pour brownie batter into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
