  • Incorporate the sweetened condensed milk and peppermint extract into the mixture and blend until fully combined.
  • If using food coloring, add it now and mix until evenly distributed.
  • Roll small portions of the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  • Flatten each ball slightly with a fork or fingertips, creating a design on top.
  • Allow the mints to dry at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
  • Store in an airtight container, dividing into smaller containers if gifting.

Notes

For variations, consider adding a pinch of sea salt, coating in chocolate, or using alternative flavors like almond or orange.
