  • 1 lb Cajun-seasoned steak tips Choose your preferred cut of beef.
  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta Alternatively, use gluten-free pasta if needed.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with dairy-free alternatives.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated cheese is recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the steak.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds aromatic flavor to the dish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish Adds freshness to the presentation.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Chop the parsley for garnish and mince the garlic.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the Cajun-seasoned steak tips and cook for about 3-5 minutes, turning until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Gradually sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  • Return the cooked rigatoni and steak tips to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Customize with additional vegetables, adjust spiciness with more Cajun seasoning, and use different pasta types as desired. The dish may be prepared ahead and stored for later use.
