For the Pizza Crust

  • 1 can canned chicken (12.5 oz), drained You can use shredded rotisserie chicken for a fresher flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Swap with cheddar or any cheese you prefer.
  • ½ cup almond flour Regular flour can be used if you’re not gluten-free.
  • 1 large egg A flax egg can be used for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Drain the canned chicken thoroughly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained chicken with mozzarella cheese, almond flour, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Let it cool, then add your favorite toppings.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  • Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Best when served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze the uncooked crust for up to 2 months.
