  • 3 tbsp heavy cream Can be substituted with coconut cream.
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • cup brown sugar Add more to taste.

Toppings and Dipping Ingredients

  • 5.5 oz caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • ¼ cup pecans (toasted) Lightly toast in a skillet.
  • Apples For dipping, can use other fruits.

Preparation

  • Clear a workspace and gather all ingredients.
  • Cut cream cheese into smaller cubes and microwave for 15-20 seconds if not softened.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture in a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer.
  • Toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Sprinkle toasted pecans over the caramel sauce.
  • Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to enhance flavors before serving.
  • Slice apples and prepare for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Thaw and let come to room temperature before serving if frozen.
