  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts Optional for garnish.
  • ½ cup heavy cream Can substitute with coconut cream for a dairy-free option.

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Peel and slice the pears, and have your caramel sauce ready.
  • In a bowl, combine the sliced pears with lemon juice and cinnamon. Toss gently until evenly coated.
  • Take your pre-made tart shell and arrange the pear mixture artfully within it.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the top.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the tart in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
  • Let the tart cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • While the tart cools, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Serve slices of the tart with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Can be frozen by slicing and wrapping individual pieces.
