Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and chill the mixing bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Whipping

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Blend the ingredients gently with a rubber spatula.
  • Using a mixer, whip the mixture on medium speed for 3 to 5 minutes until soft peaks form.
  • Once soft peaks appear, reduce the speed to low and whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.

Serving and Storage

  • Use immediately as a topping, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • If stored, gently re-whip before serving.
