  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside for later.

Cooking the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally, allowing the cream to heat through and start thickening slightly.
  • Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the grated cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. Stir constantly until the cheeses have melted and fully combined with the cream.
