Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients, ensuring your chicken is already cooked and shredded or cubed.

Cooking the Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. If using mixed vegetables, add them as well. Stir until well combined.

Assembly

  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly into a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the chicken mixture.

Baking
