Ingredients
  

  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • tortilla chips for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mash black beans slightly in a mixing bowl with a fork or potato masher.
  • Add softened cream cheese and mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar, salsa, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread mixture evenly into a baking dish.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
  • Cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

Customize with jalapeños, corn, or pepper jack for extra flavor. Use Greek yogurt or vegan cheese for dietary adjustments.
