Equipment

  • Large pot or saucepan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Knife & brush (for butter & cheese mixture)

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 ears corn on the cob husks removed
  • 2 tbsp butter unsalted, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Garnish (optional)

  • chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Add corn ears to the boiling water and cook until tender, about 8–10 minutes.
  • While corn cooks, in a mixing bowl combine softened butter, heavy cream, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • When corn is done, drain and transfer to a serving platter or tray.
  • Brush or spoon the cheesy garlic butter mixture evenly over each ear of corn.
  • Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

You can also grill the corn instead of boiling for a smokier flavor. Adjust garlic, salt, or cheese as preferred. If sauce is too thick, add a little more cream or a splash of milk.
