Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts similar in size for even cooking
  • 1 cup mushrooms finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp butter for sautéing mushrooms and garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare all ingredients and tools for smooth cooking.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and garlic; sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  • Transfer mushrooms and garlic to a bowl. Mix with cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan until well combined.
  • Trim chicken breasts and slice a pocket into each one without cutting through completely.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese mixture. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  • Season the outside of the chicken with salt and pepper. Optionally, add paprika or Italian seasoning.
  • Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate chicken in olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs before stuffing. Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a green salad.
