Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 cup long-grain rice uncooked
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 10.75 oz cream of mushroom soup 1 can
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in uncooked rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

You can prepare ahead and refrigerate before baking. Add peas, carrots, or bell peppers for extra veggies. Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
