  • 1 lb chicken fillet, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fajita seasoning

  • 8 small tortillas

Preparation

  • Wash and slice your bell pepper and onion. Slice the chicken fillet into thin strips.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chicken to the pan without overcrowding. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for another 3-5 minutes until softened.
  • Sprinkle fajita seasoning and salt over the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes for flavors to meld.
  • Warm tortillas in a separate pan over low heat or in a preheated oven.
  • Assemble fajitas by spooning chicken and vegetable mixture into each warm tortilla.
  • Serve immediately with optional toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, add lime juice before serving. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure proper cooking.
