Preparation

  • Gather and measure all ingredients. Shred cooked chicken and set aside.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • In a greased baking dish, spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly.
  • Distribute shredded chicken evenly over the cottage cheese layer.
  • Pour marinara sauce generously over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. It can also be frozen for 2-3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
