  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover chicken if possible.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Cheddar is recommended.
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping) Add for a crunchy texture.

Preparation

  • Gather all of your ingredients.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente and shred your cooked chicken if it isn’t already prepared.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti and shredded chicken.
  • Add the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups to the mixture.
  • Stir in the sour cream to create a smooth consistency.
  • Pour in the milk, along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and smooth the top.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Serving

  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving to set.
