Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Ensure your butter is at room temperature.

Cooking

  • Melt the butter and chocolate together in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and egg blend and stir until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
  • Grease your baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Serving

  • Cool brownies in the pan for 10-15 minutes before cutting into squares.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature topped with fresh berries.
