  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can use dark, semi-sweet, or butterscotch.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mixing the Batter

  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently to avoid breaking them.

Baking

  • Grease a baking dish and pour the batter into it, spreading evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
