  • 80 g powdered sugar Sweetens the mixture.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: dark chocolate, butter, digestive biscuits, walnuts, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water, stirring continuously until smooth.
  • Remove the chocolate mixture from heat and stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • Add the crushed digestive biscuits and chopped walnuts, then gently fold everything together until well mixed.
  • Transfer the mixture onto a large piece of parchment paper and shape it into a log.
  • Wrap the log tightly in parchment paper to maintain its shape during refrigeration.
  • Refrigerate the wrapped chocolate salami for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
  • Once chilled, unwrap the chocolate salami and slice it into rounds to serve.

Notes

Store chocolate salami wrapped in parchment paper and in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
