  • 2 cups Whipped Cream Can substitute with whipped coconut cream for a dairy-free version.
  • ½ cup Chocolate Syrup (optional for drizzling) Enhances flavor and presentation.
  • 8-10 pieces Mini Cups or Shot Glasses for serving Use a suitable size for layering.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • If using a store-bought cake, ensure it’s ready. If baking from scratch, prepare and cool it completely before cutting.
  • Cut the cooled cake into small cubes (about one inch).

Assembly

  • In mini cups, layer a few cake cubes at the bottom.
  • Add a layer of sliced fresh strawberries on top of the cake.
  • Spoon a layer of whipped cream over the strawberries.
  • Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with whipped cream.
  • Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top if desired.

Serving

  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For better results, allow the cake to cool completely, and do not overfill the cups for a tidy presentation. Fresh strawberries are crucial; alternatively, thawed frozen strawberries may be used.
