  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Can substitute with plant-based yogurt for a vegan option.
  • 1 tbsp honey Agave syrup or maple syrup can be used for a vegan version.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Dark chocolate can be used as an alternative.
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil Helps maintain a shiny finish on the chocolate.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and equipment. Chop the strawberries into small pieces and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until well-distributed.

Forming the Clusters

  • Use a spoon or an ice cream scoop to take about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture and place it onto a lined baking sheet, shaping it into clusters.
  • Place the baking sheet in the freezer until the clusters are completely solid, about 1-2 hours.

Melting the Chocolate

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in short intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

Coating the Clusters

  • Dip each frozen yogurt cluster into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Place the coated clusters back onto the baking sheet.

Finishing Touches

  • Sprinkle a touch of sea salt over each cluster to enhance the flavor, then return them to freeze for a few minutes to harden the chocolate.

Serving

  • Serve the clusters straight from the freezer for a refreshing treat or allow to sit for a few minutes at room temperature for a softer bite.

Notes

Store clusters in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks. Separate layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
