Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Fresh or thawed if previously frozen.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with maple syrup for a lower-sugar option.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Can be substituted with light soy sauce.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Shallots or onions can be used as alternatives.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 piece lemon, sliced Add slices on top for enhanced flavor.
  • to taste fresh dill for garnish Optional but adds flavor and looks great.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Gather all the ingredients and lay out your salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Make the Glaze

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Apply the Glaze

  • Evenly distribute the glaze over the salmon fillets.

Add Lemon

  • Place lemon slices on top of each fillet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Garnishing

  • Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with fresh dill.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon for a couple of hours before baking. Different herbs can be used to enhance the flavor. Serve elegantly for the best presentation.
