  • Cut the cooled cake into small, uniform cubes.

Layering

  • In a large trifle dish, add half of the chocolate cake cubes as the base layer.
  • Spread half of the cherry pie filling evenly over the cake layer.
  • Next, layer half of the chocolate pudding over the cherries, followed by half of the whipped cream.
  • Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients: cake cubes, cherry filling, pudding, and whipped cream.

Finishing
