  • ¼ cup Fresh Herbs (parsley or dill, or both), chopped
  • ½ cup Bacon Bits (optional) Substitute with crispy chickpeas for a plant-based option

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: slice the cucumber, halve the cherry tomatoes, and prepare your chosen spreads. Ensure the cream cheese is softened.
  • If you prefer a crispy base, lightly toast the slices of bread or crackers in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes.

Assembly

  • Spread the softened cream cheese or savory spread evenly on each piece of bread or cracker.
  • Top the spread with sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and sliced olives.
  • Sprinkle on bacon bits and chop fresh herbs to garnish the canapés.
  • Season each canapé with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Serving

  • Arrange the assembled canapés on a decorative platter and serve immediately for the freshest taste.
