Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded turkey Opt for leftover turkey for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce You can use homemade or store-bought.
  • 2 cups stuffing mix Choose your favorite variety or make your own.
  • 1 cup cooked green beans Fresh or frozen works well.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For that gooey, creamy topping.
  • 1-2 cups chicken broth Use low-sodium for better control over saltiness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Shred the turkey, chop the green beans if needed, and measure out the stuffing mix and chicken broth.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, and cooked green beans.
  • Gradually add chicken broth to the mixture, stirring until it reaches a moist but not overly wet consistency.

Baking

  • Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray or grease it lightly. Transfer your mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until it is heated through and the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
  • Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, cover the casserole with foil and place it in a preheated oven at 350°F until heated through.
