  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cooking Base

  • In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it simmers.

Melt Chocolate

  • Add the chocolate chips to the saucepan and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Whisk Eggs

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until light and frothy.

Combine Mixtures

  • Carefully combine the cooled chocolate mixture with the egg mixture, stirring gently.

Pour into Crust

  • Pour the mixture into the pre-made pie crust and ensure even distribution.

Bake

  • Allow the pie to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
