Baking

  • Grease and flour the cake pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated before adding the next.
  • Stir in the coconut milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet components and mix until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the shredded coconut.
