For the Croissants

  • 1 package Croissant Dough Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Adds warm spice.
  • ½ cup Dried Cranberries Adds tartness and chewiness.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted For brushing on top.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Sweetens the filling.
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash to enhance color.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Enhances flavor.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Pre-measure the sugar, cinnamon, and cranberries.
  • Preheat your oven according to the croissant dough package instructions.
  • Unroll the croissant dough onto a clean, lightly floured surface.
  • In a bowl, mix cinnamon, sugar, and dried cranberries until well combined.

Assembly

  • At the wider end of each triangle, place a spoonful of the cranberry mixture.
  • Roll up the triangle, tucking in the sides slightly as you go.
  • Place rolled croissants seam side down on a buttered baking sheet.
  • Brush tops with melted butter and apply an egg wash.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until puffed and golden.
  • Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days or freeze them wrapped for up to 2-3 months. Reheat at 350°F for 10 minutes for best results.
